The Hálslón reservoir is a part of the Kárahnjúkar power plant. The series Impoprted Landscape treats the impact of the construction of the power plant on the wild nature in the area.
Hálslón follows the aftermath of this construction. The impact the lake has on its surroundings and the problems of erosion 
in the area.
Hálslón is a long-term photographic project that began in 2015.
Part of the work was exhibited at The Factory in Hjalteyri at the exhibition Archaeology for the Anthropocene during the summer of 2018.
